Youth Mercy Associates


Youth Mercy Associates (YMA) allows young people to be part of the Mercy family.

The aim of the YMA is to:

1. come to know God and follow the example of Jesus,

2. learn about Catherine and her Spirituality in order to pray,

3. get to know more about the Sisters of Mercy so that
they become active, caring members of the Mercy family
under the protection of Our Lady of Mercy.

Youth Mercy Associates is open to any young person between the ages of eleven and seventeen years who feel they can make a commitment to a time of preparation to becoming a full member of the YMA.

To her Sisters, Catherine would often say:
