Associate Day of Prayer at Llandudno

On Saturday, July 7th. 2011, a small but enthusiastic group of Mercy Associates from Bangor and Colwyn Bay met for a Day of Prayer in the Loreto Convent in Llandudno. The day, which was led by Fr.Bernard Eager, included a specially composed Morning Prayer, a Reflection on commitment, the Stations of Mercy Devotion, Mass, and a Holy Hour which included an anointing with the Oil of Gladness. During the course of the day, prayers were offered for very many intentions, but especially for peace and justice in our troubled world, for vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and for Mercy Sisters and Associates everywhere.

The Convent provided a lovely lunch, and an afternoon comfortable cup of tea, before the Associates departed, spiritually refreshed, and materially well satisfied.
